First Royals Game!

Last Friday night we went to the Royals Game with Uncle Kevin & Sara, Uncle Brian & Aunt Jen, Drew & Jack. This was Parker's first game and he did great! We got there before the game started so Parker hung out in the Kid's Zone with his cousins for awhile. He still has a couple of years until he can enjoy most of the fun stuff, but he was pretty content riding the Carousel and then hanging out in his stroller (thanks to Aunt Jen)! After lots of play time, we decided to get some ballpark food and then watch the game. It was a great game - Royals got a win, yeah! - followed by an awesome fireworks show. Parker stayed awake the entire game, enjoyed a bottle towards the end of it and then stayed awake for the fireworks, which he didn't seem to mind either! I thought for sure he would fall asleep on the way home but as we were pulling in the driveway he was still wide awake! Silly boy!

We had a great time with the Zimmerman gang and can't wait to go back for another game!

My two Royals Fans!

10 Months Old!

Parker was 10 months old on June 5th. He continues to keep us on our toes and make us laugh multiple times a day. I can already see an ornery streak in him and am trying to prepare myself for the terrible two's because I have a feeling they are going to start early with this one! It's hard not to laugh at some of the things he does, even though I know I shouldn't be - such as knocking the spoon out of your hand when he's done eating or chucking his binky clear out of his crib when he doesn't want it anymore. Here are some of the things he has been up to this month....

*Still working on getting his 4th tooth in. This one is really causing some fussy fits and chewing really hard on anything he can get into his mouth.

*Eating puffs (baby cereal), chunks of banana, and cheese. He has just recently started chewing these kind of things so we will be introducing more in the coming days. (Before now, he would just swallow anything you put in his mouth without chewing it).

*Pulled himself up from laying position to sitting position all by himself.

*Starting to pull himself up on furniture, toys, etc.

*Army crawling (with one leg).

*Starting to make this high-pitched squealing sound just because he can!

*Blows and spits bubbles all the time.

*If you give him a toy, spoon of food, binky, water cup, or pretty much anything that he doesn't want, he will knock it as hard as he can out of your hand onto the floor.

Happy 10 Months, Parker! Love you more each day!

Our Week in Osborne!

Parker and I recently spent a week at my parent's house. Brad stayed home to work a few days and then joined us at the end of the week. We had a blast hanging out with Aunt Megan (for the first couple of days), Grandma & Grandpa, and some of my high school classmates. Parker took his first wagon ride (multiple times), got his first haircut, enjoyed time at his first outdoor BBQ, spent some time with my parents at work, and even spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa all by himself while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back again soon!

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a fun-filled week!

First time in a wagon and loving it! Max wanted a ride, too!

Now I'm all buckled in and ready to go!

Out for an evening walk and Parker decided to take a snooze along the way.
