The Zoo!

A couple weeks ago Parker and I met Jen & Luke and Sarah & Brody at the KC Zoo. We weren't really thinking about it being Spring Break, but as soon as we pulled in to the parking lot we remembered it was the first day of break for many of the schools around the city (except Drew and Jack's district!) Once we got in the zoo it wasn't too bad since the zoo is pretty spread out. The weather was perfect and we had a fun day hanging with our boys and watching the animals.

 Riding the Train

The penguin exhibit was definitely a favorite.
We could have stayed there all morning and the boys would have been happy!

Hi, Brody!

Apparently the penguins were my favorite, too, since these are the only pictures I took! We saw lots of other animals including the polar bear, kangaroos, llamas, elephants, and monkeys. :)

Fairy Tale Village

Crown Center has a Fairy Tale exhibit going on right now that is perfect for toddlers. The exhibit is full of interactive stories and characters including Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Snow White, and Little Red Riding Hood. Parker and I met Jen & Luke and Sarah & Brody there one morning. The boys loved running through the little houses and sitting in Cinderella's carriage. After lots of play time we all grabbed some lunch. It was a fun morning with our boys!

February Fun

February has come and gone so I thought I would share some of the fun we had. :)

The first few pictures were taken one morning when we went and hung out with Luke.

Hi, Lukie!

"How many more pictures you going to take, Aunt Rachel??" :)

 Just a playin'

 Walkin' in Daddy's shoes.

Parker loves his Gigi.

My mom made Parker Mickey shaped cookies for
Valentine's Day so he was showing one of them off!

Climbed right on up there all by himself.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day this year, we went to Brian and Jen's house and celebrated with them and the boys. We had a low key evening, but it was lots of fun. For dinner we had heart shaped pizza and then made fruit k-bobs to dip in chocolate. The boys played hard after dinner and even had a dance party. Thanks for a fun night Brian, Jen, Drew, Jack, and Luke!!

 Love these two!

Brad's 31st Birthday

Parker and I helped Brad celebrate his 31st birthday in February. We went to Pizza Shoppe for dinner and then came home and had chocolate cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Sesame Street Live!

Jen and I took Luke and Parker to see Sesame Street Live when the show was at the Sprint Center. The boys had so much fun dancing to the music and seeing the characters up close. Parker is a huge Elmo fan so he loved it. Ernie has become a favorite since the show, too. It was a fun afternoon with our little guys!!

 ELMOOOOO!!

Love my little guy!
