Parker is now 11 months old. I can't even believe it! He is growing and changing so much each day and we will be celebrating his first birthday so soon! Within the past month he has started doing so many new things and I just LOVE watching him explore the world around him! Everything is so exciting to him and he just takes it all in!
Some of the things I have noticed that really interest him this month are... the garage door going up and down (that could entertain him for hours!), the sprinklers in the yard, the windows and blinds in the living room, Zoe (he just squeals whenever he sees her), laundry baskets - or clean laundry for that matter (I can never get anything folded when he's around), any sort of paper (he loves crinkling it). I could go on and on but I'll just move on to some of the other things he has been up to this month!
*Weighs 23 pounds, wears size 4 diapers and 18 month clothes.
*Sleeps 11 hours a night with a good 2 hour nap during the day.
*Pulling himself up in his pack and play, in his bed, the couch, stairs - pretty much anything he can get his little hands on!
*Gets to sitting position from a laying position without much effort these days.
*Working on his 8th tooth!
*Dances to music.
*Says "dada" - the first time just happened to be on Father's Day. :-)
*Loves his little swimming pool!
*Climbed out of his exer-saucer - didn't even know that was possible!
*Has started feeding himself.
*Mac & Cheese is a new favorite!
*Has learned to kick the bottom of his high chair tray when the food is out of reach so that it shuffles towards him.
*Loves to be tickled!
