2013 In Review

I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and highlight some of my favorites from this past year. I will definitely remember 2013 as the year Parker went from my "little baby boy" to an "always on the go toddler". This past year has been a great one as we watched Parker learn so many new things and experience many "firsts". I look forward to the coming year and can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!

January

We hosted an extra late Christmas with my side of the family at our house in the beginning of January. This was also the month Parker started sitting in his high chair and ate cereal for the first time.

February

In February we celebrated Daddy's 29th birthday and I got to hang out with my two favorite boys on Valentine's Day.

March

Parker was still taking random cat naps in March. At the end of the month we celebrated Easter in Osborne where Parker went to his first Easter Egg hunt.

April

In April, Parker worked on sitting up. I got to spend my entire birthday with my Zimmerman family enjoying BBQ and bowling.

May

Parker learned a new trick in May and the little guy and I spent a week in Osborne at my parent's house.

June

At the beginning of June, Brad and I attended Kristin & Duke's wedding. Later in the month, we took Parker to his first Royal's game.

July

We celebrated The 4th of July with friends and I took on a new business venture by launching Baby Sweets.

August

This month was a big one for us because Parker turned 1 and 4 days later we welcomed our new baby cousin and nephew - Luke Michael!

September

In September we got Parker's 1 year pictures taken and watched the Chiefs score a lot of touchdowns.

October

We definitely enjoyed the nice fall weather in October by going to the pumpkin patch and trick or treating around Osborne with our little pirate.

November
November was an exciting month! Parker visited FHSU for the first time and in even bigger news... he started walking!

December

In December we wore our Christmas jammies A LOT and enjoyed a variety of Christmas activities.

Whew! We had a fun filled 2013!

Family Pictures

We had Parker's 1 Year Pictures/Family Pictures taken in September by April with April Mick Photography. She does such a great job and is so patient and sweet with Parker! There were so many good ones to choose from but I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day started out by checking our stockings to see if we had a visit from Santa! We all must have been good because they were all full! We enjoyed a yummy brunch and then it was time to open gifts. That afternoon we all hung out and enjoyed a yummy meal of baked potatoes and all the fixings, and a variety of appetizers and desserts, and then enjoyed our new gifts. It was a fun, relaxing Christmas with our family.
