Christmas Lights

One of my favorite Christmas traditions has always been driving around in the car and looking at Christmas lights. Now that Parker is getting older I thought it would be a fun tradition to start with him. One Friday night in December, we put Parker in his Christmas PJ,'s, got in the car, stopped at Starbucks for hot chocolate (for Brad and I) and we were off. We drove around through some of the neighborhoods in our area, checked out some of our favorite displays around town, and then stopped at the Deanna Rose Farmstead to watch their light show. They have a really neat display that is all set to music. Even though Parker still wasn't sure of the lights and couldn't see most of them from his seat, we still had a fun evening and will continue this tradition again next year!
