The people in Brad's office threw a baby shower for him. Actually I should say, the women in Brad's office threw him a shower... but there were men there, too. I was invited, too. When I first got the invite from Brad, I suddenly became nervous. A business office is like foreign territory to me. Keep in mind I am used to long hallways filled with 8 year old's artwork, and classrooms with screaming children. :) To step foot into a professional office was quite scary for me! But, I made the trip to downtown KC in the 100 degree heat, found my normal parking spot, paid the parking meter and met Brad. For awhile we didn't think they were going to allow me to go up to his floor though because spouses aren't allowed - it's against the rules. But, they made an exception for me. I didn't have to argue very hard that I was the one who was meeting her husband for a baby shower... that part was quite obvious!
It really was a fun time and I'm glad I went. They had a cake for Baby Z and we got several nice gifts. It was also fun getting to see Brad in his work element, and meeting the people he works with everyday.
Who can teach me how to rotate pictures? I can't seem to find it anywhere! Thanks!
