6 1/2 Weeks Old!

Here's the latest on Mr. Parker... 

He is still eating between 4 and 5 ounces about 5 times a day. Sometimes more, sometimes a little less. 

Last night he slept for 8 hours straight! That's the longest stretch so far. Wow! I got 8 hours of sleep and my baby isn't even 7 weeks old! 9-20-12

Wearing size 1 diapers

Most of his clothes are 0-3 months (onesies, sleep&plays or jammies as we like to call them, and his sweatshirts for those cool evenings). He is still able to fit into newborn pants which is crazy to me because he is so long.

He is still sleeping in our room throughout the night but I have been putting him in his crib in his own room for his naps during the day. He does a great job in there and seems to really like his crib. We will probably transition him into his crib full time soon... sad day for me!

While at my parent's house, he was having tummy time and he rolled from his belly to his back (again) two times in a row. The second time was almost instantly when I laid him on his belly. 9-15-12

He loves riding in his stroller while we go for a walk.

He enjoys listening to music. Our monitor plays music and he will fall asleep to that. I think his favorite toy right now though is the Lion King toy we have in his crib. It plays music and has bright lights with a lot of movement. He will lay in his bed and watch that for a long time before he falls asleep. I always turn that on when I am rocking him at night and the music usually puts him to sleep.

He still loves the swing! That is his hang out spot while Brad and I eat dinner in the evenings.

We went through a phase a couple of weeks ago where he would cry every time we put him in his bouncer but that is pretty much over now. He seems to enjoy it again and will fall asleep while bouncing.

 This was during the day so I didn't have him swaddled so he was able to move from his back to his side. I had the monitor right beside me though checking on him every few minutes. This picture shows how much of a mover he already is. He started out in the middle of the bed on his back and he moved almost to the edge of the crib.
