9 Months Old!

Parker was 9 months old on May 5th. Each day I get to spend with this sweet boy is such a blessing. He is really starting to become more of a little boy and less of a baby more every day. Time needs to slow down!

We celebrated his 9 month birthday with a trip to see his doctor. Here are his latest stats and some new things he has been doing:

Height: 29 inches

 

Weight: 22 pounds

 

Head: 17 3/4 inches

 

 



*Size 4 diapers. All 12 month clothes and some 18 month clothes.

*He has mastered the army crawl/scoot. Watch out, when he spots something he wants, there is no stopping him!

*He will get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth but no forward movement (in this position) yet. Soon!

*Starting to pull himself up on the side of things such as the pack and play and his jumper.

*Sitting up all by himself now!

*His 4th tooth is coming in!

*Taking less formula throughout the day and more solid foods. He loves mixed veggies, pears, oatmeal, and yogurt especially well.

*He doesn't know what to do with the baby puffs cereal. He just swallows it as quick as he can and then kind of coughs.

*When he's in the bath he kicks his feet and splashes the water with his hands the whole time. I think he'll love the baby pool this summer. :-)

*I've trimmed his hair 3 times now. Nothing major, just a little off the top and sides. The top is now starting to get a little curl to it now that I've cut it.

*He hates being on his back. The second you lay him down, he instantly flips to his belly. Changing his diaper is a chore!

*Entertains himself with his toys for long periods of time!

*Smiles all the time and giggles anytime we do something silly or goofy for him!
