Pregnancy Update

I'm just a little behind... the last time I posted an update was Week 27. That's fine by me though - it just means things are going good, busy, but good! :) I am well into the 3rd trimester now at 31 weeks. Crazy! I still can't believe how fast time is going. Between the end of the school year, baby showers, class reunions, writing thank - you's, and preparing the nursery, I have had plenty to keep me busy! Not to mention Brad has been working some crazy hours at work lately. Last week, he was at work at 5am 3 different mornings and 6am another day. He has been working later hours too, but he has still been a trooper and helped me with the nursery.

I just got a call from Buy Buy Baby and our furniture has arrived. Of course, they messed up and had on their notes we were picking it up, so I kindly reminded the guy that it was supposed to be delivered. I am patiently waiting on a phone call for confirmation of delivery time now. :) So, you know what we will be doing this weekend... hopefully!

The baby seems to be growing like a weed. He is still constantly moving, kicking, and squirming. I had a doctor's appt. last week, and will start going every 2 weeks now. The doctor said I am measuring right where I should be.

The only thing that is still really bothering me is my back. It hurts when I have been on my feet all day, but also hurts when I am sitting. It's kind of a lose/lose situation right now because I just noticed that my ankles are really starting to swell. When my mom was here 2 weeks ago, she thought she noticed them swelling but I didn't think much of it. Well, this past weekend at home, I really noticed them swelling and I think it's the craziest thing! So weird! Anyway, of course my mom is now telling me to stay off my feet (which of course she is right), but when I do then my back just kills me! Hmmm...

Zoe cannot figure out what is going on. Before we were expecting, we really didn't use the bedroom that will now be the nursery very often, mainly when we had extra company. So, now that we are in and out of that room all of the time, Zoe is too. I have found her in there laying by herself several times. She cannot figure out what all of this new stuff is all about. She is very interested in anything that makes noise and is soft and squishy... aka all of the toys! Of course when the stroller arrived she was very curious about that, too.

Stay tuned for furniture pictures! :)
